Tomorrow (25th July) I am returning to have my left eye lasered again. The treatment I had last year slightly over-corrected my left eye so the two eyes are not balanced. This makes reading more difficult. I also find it a bit difficult to get reading glasses 'off the peg', although my brain has adjusted to it. My optician said that the consultant would be able to correct this and thought that I should go for it as I had paid a lot of money for the initial treatment. The consultant was really helpful and said it was not a problem to correct it and in fact he said that the left eye would actually end up being the best eye once corrected. There is no charge being made (phew).
I have just re-read my blog from last year as it is difficult to remember what I felt like and for how long. Could only remember the sand in the eyes feeling during the first afternoon so I know I will have to put up with that tomorrow. As it is only one eye, things should be a little easier as I can see with the other one. Will probably still have to stay in a dark room for a couple of days. Will report back in a few days.
